We are Christ’s ambassadors, representing him in everything we think, say, and do. If you claim to be a follower of Christ, this is true for you whether you’re in a foreign land or on your home’s door step. With this category we will discuss how we represent Christ both near and far. It will contain talk on actual missions and evangelism, as well as questions, insights, and resources on how we best represent Christ in our society in day to day life! One minute we’re fussing over trivial matters, the next we’re deciding if we accept refugees and save lives. When times are troubled, politicians are debating, and people are worried, who are we called to be? How do we respond? What is our course and our hope?
People who live in offense to God will likely be offended by the gospel, but is that surprising to anyone? Is it our job to worry about this?
Reflections and insights from a young man who recently returned from two years overseas, in Spain, on world missions. Some questions you’d expect, maybe some you wouldn’t, but a lot to learn either way (even if you’ve never considered global missions)!
I’ve found men have many reasons for why they don’t blog, but here are some unarguably awesome reasons why you should probably get started, now. Blogging has changed my life for over a decade. It will do the same for you.
“We hold this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us” (2 Corinthians 4:7). Locked in a Cage Isn’t it ironic that the people who claim to believe in the radical, free, sovereign, amazing grace of God tend to be some of the most ungracious people you’ll meet? Some of
“Let’s place a giant picture of Jesus’ face on the stage.” Well, what does Jesus look like? I’m afraid I know what the answer is, and it’s pretty ugly…
