No, this isn’t an ad for The Master’s Seminary or a promotion of any kind. This is just a really vital word for us as men of God.
In a time of instant gratification, constant noise and distractions, social platforms, easy access to supposed “influencers” and “world changers”, it’s easy to over think our importance and desire short-term esteem and notoriety.
John MacArthur, President of The Master’s University & Seminary, spoke of this distracting desire to an audience at the “Unfiltered” conference (a worldview summit hosted by the faculty of The Master’s University each spring), and discussed the importance of living a life of true influence and how it may actually be accomplished by the few willing to stay focused on our true mission God has given us.
Check it out and share it with a brother or two you know. This is a good word for us!
“There is an entire generation of young people who think they are so important that they somehow need to be world changers; most of them will never come close.” – John MacArthur
