Hebrews 13:15 “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”
You catch that? We are to continually sacrifice to God. How are we as believers supposed to offer sacrifices to God? Notice how the passage tells us how. We do that through Him! As we acknowledge the name of Jesus, telling people about Him, worshiping Him, thanking Him, trusting Him, talking to Him, we offer sacrifices to God. We then sacrifice by recognizing and acknowledging in the One and only true sacrifice. Just one more glorious paradox in the bible.
