God is every present and always working as He providentially reigns and rules over all things. However it must be noted , as the above verse indicates, there will be seasons when God’s activity will seem harder to identify and seasons when God’s saving power is seen by revival. Whatever time you and your church are in, your activity should be the same: Thankful, Worship. We wait for no further vision, we have the image of the empty cross. We wait for no further word, Jesus said “It is finished” and God’s word the Bible is complete. But as the people in Israel needed God to move we need revival today. So we are to live thankfully, worshipful lives in response to the Gospel as we pray for the NT equivalent of The Lord speaking, REVIVAL.
