As we come to the Lord\u2019s Table today, let us remember that though it is a small portion, it is a great feast, for we do not merely eat a piece of bread and wine, but by faith we partake of the Lord Jesus – not physically, but spiritually. The Lord\u2019s Supper is our New Covenant meal, where, in the fruit of the vine – the blood of Christ – we see Christ as our firstfruits from the dead – just as we see in the leavened bread – the body of Christ – that He rose like leaven, bodily from the dead – being the firstfruits of the resurrection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As we take and eat, and participate in Christ by faith, we do so until He comes to gather up all His Church, wherein we will be raised like Him. So let us rejoice in the feast of which we now partake through Jesus Christ. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
