The Regimevangelical elites are like CNN for the evangelical world. When unapproved narratives begin to gain notoriety they are quick to shout their lines in unison together, with very serious furrowed brows, stunning and brave lines about how only those who do witchcraft believe in conspiracy theories and that<\/em> is a danger to our sacred democracy!<\/p>\n

Certainly Christians are not to believe charges without 2-3 lines of credible witness, but we are far beyond that. Now I don’t want to get into naming specific conspiracy theories because that is not my point and there are too many to count which are now conspiracy facts. But let’s just say one rhymes with rate grease-set<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The only point I’m really trying to make here is that the Psalms, in particular, contain theology that many modern evangelicals don’t know is there and are very uncomfortable with. The Psalms readily tell us that rulers and wicked men conspire together and make secret schemes against the righteous and that God then kills them. This is a regular theme in the Psalter. The Church’s departure from the historic practice of Psalm-singing has crippled our theology and our ability to understand the world today. The gasping and hee-hawing from the Regimevangelicals at the mention that maybe, just maybe, wicked people with great power have plans to harm the godly is quite telling. It’s like the regime has placed these regime theologians in their place to sooth the common Christian that everything is alright and that there is peace when there is no peace. Certainly we would not want godly elder saints praying, singing, and believing that God will shoot arrows at our regime overlords!<\/p>\n

One such Psalm that is unapproved by the Regimevangelicals is the 64th Psalm, a Psalm of David. I must warn you that this Psalm is filled with danger. Some things contained therein may be very scary to the soy boy man boys who are very careful to always please Mr. Soros. The whole Psalm is absolutely metal, but I will just hit a few highlights here.<\/p>\n

Let’s start with verse 2-5 which says,<\/p>\n

Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,<\/p>\n

from the throng of evildoers,<\/p>\n

who whet their tongues like swords,<\/p>\n

who aim bitter words like arrows,<\/p>\n

shooting from ambush at the blameless,<\/p>\n

shooting at him suddenly and without fear.<\/p>\n

they hold fast to their evil purpose;<\/p>\n

they talk of laying snares secretly,<\/p>\n

thinking, “Who can see them?”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Now David, don’t you know that there is nothing to be afraid of? David, take off your tin-foil hat – no one is secretly plotting to against you. Our leaders aren’t wicked men, we just have policy differences. Don’t you see how dangerous such a song and prayer is to the stability of our democracy?”<\/p>\n

That last sentence is actually quite true, but not for reasons the Regimevangelicals would believe it to be. If more Christians believed, sung, and prayed such things, we might see a regime change where the wicked are defeated and God-honoring men are given ruling responsibility once again. God may answer such prayer causing us to remain hidden from the all searching eye of Sauron as we live quiet and godly lives of resistance. Very dangerous indeed.<\/p>\n

This Psalm affirms the reality that evil men secretly plan to harm the righteous. It also affirms their arrogant thoughts as they think about their plans, “Who can see them?” But suddenly, verse 7 changes the direction of the Psalm. As it turns out, while the wicked were conspiring together to harm the righteous, God in His eternal counsels has determined to suddenly bring them down. In their arrogance they did not see it. Verse 7-9,<\/p>\n

But God shoots his arrow at them;<\/p>\n

they are wounded suddenly.<\/p>\n

They are brought to ruin, with their own tongues turned against them;<\/p>\n

all who see them will wag their heads.<\/p>\n

Then all mankind fears;<\/p>\n

they tell what God has brought about<\/p>\n

and ponder what he has done.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
