All that I was, my sin my guilt,<\/p>\n

My death was all mine own;<\/p>\n

All that I am, I owe to Thee,<\/p>\n

My gracious God, alone.<\/p>\n

The evil of my former state<\/p>\n

The good in which I now rejoice<\/p>\n

Is Thine, and only Thine.<\/p>\n

The darkness of my former state,<\/p>\n

The bondage – all was mine;<\/p>\n

The light of life in which I walk,<\/p>\n

The liberty – is Thine.<\/p>\n

Thy grace that made me feel my sin<\/p>\n

It taught me to believe;<\/p>\n

Then, in believing, peace I found,<\/p>\n
