It is so exciting to see God move in the lives of people as they took a step of obedience in getting baptized. Here are some reasons I love baptisms. <\/p>\n<p>1. Baptism is a testimony to the power of the atonement. <br \/>2. Millions of people have gone before us in baptism and probably millions more to come. <br \/>3. Baptism is a picture of Jesus life death a resurrection. <br \/>4. The person being baptized believes that number 3 was for them to the Glory of God. <br \/>5. I am reminded that my sins are washed away. <br \/>6. I am reminded that God has regenerated me!<br \/>7. In baptism we recognize that our family is growing. <br \/>8. We get to worship God and not the obedient person. <\/p>\n<p>By God&#8217;s grace I pray I get to be a part of thousands more in my lifetime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we had our fist baptisms at Cornerstone Carterville.
