Music Monday Begins! New or Classic, It’s Musically and Theologically Awesome – #MusicMonday

One of the greatest gifts God has given us is music. It transcends all cultures, races, languages, emotions, disabilities, ages, etc., and it’s a powerful tool for connecting to and worshiping our God!

It’s unfortunate that many young men (and others, for that matter) believe there’s not good music out there. Fact is, there’s a plethora – yea, freakin plethora! – of good music being produced these days.

Solid music. Solid lyrics. Solid theology.

We’re not just talking the crazy good hymn remakes that are out there either, we’re talking original new jams as well.

Every day at dawn I chase the sunrise,
Looking for a hint of Heaven’s light
I’ve been given a taste for something
That nothing in this world can satisfy

See what we’re talking about? That’s new stuff (check it below)!

Whether new and fresh, classics or remakes, it’s always awesome to have some good jams to get your heart and mind right! So let’s make that easier for ourselves, eh?

We’re Sharing The Music With Ya!

So in the same thread as the recently begun tag “Super Sermons” we’re going to begin another tag called “Music Mondays” and begin sharing the good jams we come across.

We’ve been slowly building a few playlists for months now with good jams and thinking it’d be a good idea to begin sharing these! It’s time.

If you have any you’d recommend, or you’re a big-time music buff yourself and would like to write some of these posts, share them in the comments below.

Kickin Off With Kings Kaleidoscope

So to kick it off, here’s one of the greatest jams we’ve heard in a long time with some seriously awesome lyrics:

I Know by Kings Kaleidoscope

This is a studio recording, a bit different from their album version. Snatch their album up pronto!

Lyrics:

Every day at dusk I chase the sunset, sunset
Looking for a glimpse of Heaven’s skies
I’ve been given a taste for something
That nothing in this world can satisfy
But I know that a time is coming
When I will be in glorious delight

CHORUS:
I know I will run through Heaven’s brilliant streets of gold
Shouting “Hallelujah, Christ!” alone
I know I will dance and sing and bow before the throne
Yeah, this, I know. Oh-Oh.

Every day at dawn I chase the sunrise, sunrise
Looking for a hint of Heave’s light
I’ve been given a taste for something
That nothing in this world can satisfy
But I know that a time is coming
When I will be in glorious delight

CHORUS:
I know I will run through Heaven’s brilliant streets of gold
Shouting “Hallelujah, Christ!” alone
I know I will dance and sing and bow before the throne
Yeah, this, I know. Oh-Oh.

CHORUS:
I know I will run through Heaven’s brilliant streets of gold
Shouting “Hallelujah, Christ!” alone
I know I will dance and sing and bow before the throne
Yeah, this, I know. Oh-Oh.

This I know. This I know. This I know.

The Adelphotes Network by TheMajestysMen.com

“Adelphós” is greek for “brother”, and so “adelphotés ” is the greek word used in the Bible to refer to the “brotherhood of believers” and the early followers of “the way”, both male and female. We are in the very early stages of building a network of like-minded brothers who seek to make much of Jesus, together. Each site will be guaranteed to be amazing with as much (or little) as you need to produce the content you want to produce with attractive style!

We are currently not open for applications, but if you’re interested, you can submit your info and reserve a place in line to be notified first when we begin accepting applications. Simply go to this page and submit your info.

You can check out a few of the guys who have already taken their sites live on the network and show them some support:
